24-hour blood pressure measurement

A 24-hour blood pressure measurement (long-term blood pressure measurement) is a diagnostic method in which a portable measuring device records blood pressure at regular intervals over 24 hours in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of blood pressure behaviour during the day and night.

The device is issued in the practice. It is returned the following day and discussed with the attending doctor.
